What is so different about Stem Cellutions© 

In very simple terms Stem Cellutions© is the very first natural treatment to add volume to the face or breasts.

When comparing dermal fillers againts the Stem Cellutions© procedure the permanent effect is visible over time, where as Hyaluronic Acid is absorbed into the body. Fat injections only provide 30-50% survival of the fat graft compared to 80-90% for Stem Cellutions©

Compared to traditional methods using dermal fillers or implants, Stem Cellutions© uses absolutely no man made additives in the process whatsoever and is a procedure that takes a few hours from the harvest of the patients own cells, seperation and concentration of regenerative cells to the return of the cells to the patients body.

Because the body starts to grow more cells, repair the damaged area (often under the skin) it is gradual although results can be seen in around seven days.

Stem Cellutions© is a stand alone procedure, however as with many treatments offered by Dr Khan and the medical team at the renowned Harley Street Medical Skin Clinic, it can be used as part of the "Khan Combined Therapy" approach which may involve fat reduction to the jowls and chin using SmartLipo© and non-surgical face lifts using SmartXide© and Fraxel©.

What cells are used?

Adipose tissue is the richest and most accessible known source in the human body of adult stem cells. By comparison, it contains a hundred times more stem cells in the same amount of bone marrow, a commonly-used source for stem cells.

While most adult stem cell therapies can take days or weeks of culturing, a meaningful dose of cells can be extracted from adipose tissue within the timeframe of a single surgical procedure and without the need for further manipulation. This enables real-time treatment in the clinical setting, in which a patient can have his or her own cells harvested and administered without the cells ever leaving the hospital or surgery room.

Adipose tissue, also known as fat tissue, is one of the most recently discovered sources of adult stem and regenerative cells and considered by many within the scientific community to be the richest source. What is the procedure?

Stem Cellutions© uses Celution® Technology which has been developed as the first bedside device to enable real-time, adult stem and regenerative cell processing. This innovative technology automates and standardizes the separation and concentration of a patient’s own (autologous) adult stem and regenerative cells from body fat (adipose) for real-time redelivery to the same patient.


Patients normally attend the clinic and have the whole procedure completed in less than a few hours. After preparation for the procedure in a clean environment the fat cells are harvested, and then the patient will have a break whilst the cells are seperated and concentrated by the Celution® System. Cells are reintroduced to the area required which takes approximately one hour.
